Department of Defense
High Performance Computing Modernization Program

The High Performance Computing Advisory Panel (HPCAP) meets quarterly to provide a forum for the military Services and Defense Agencies to provide advice and assistance to the HPCMP Director on strategies, methods, and plans to best meet the needs of the high performance computing (HPC) community.

The HPCAP is comprised of senior officials from the HPCMP, military Services, and the Defense Agencies to ensure that the provision of HPC resources to support the Department of Defense (DoD) laboratories and test centers are interrelated, well-formulated, and within the context of the national HPC infrastructure. Service/Agency representatives on the HPCAP are the principal liaisons between the HPCMP and their respective Service/Agency.
